The Los Angeles, California soul recording artist is set to release his newest project in August.
Everyone has that ONE song that has helped them get past a hard time in their life. Matthew Sutton's new song is guaranteed to one of those songs. His new track entitled, "Keep Yah Head Up" is a breath of fresh air and full of motivating lyrics that finds him breathing life into every single bar. The chorus alone is beyond inspiring as Sutton sings, "just keep your head up, it's okay, when times get hard, just have faith / move forward, stay in your lane / and never give up, keep pushing everyday /" The beat - produced by PK Beats - is backed by a beautiful piano and a bass line so funky that George Clinton would be impressed as Sutton's smooth & silky voice matched the vibe, perfectly.
As if the song itself wasn't enough, the music video definitely caps it off. Directed by J Hyde, the visual is set behind a stunning back drop of a California beach surrounded by glorious mountains. The beautiful video footage matches the energy of "Keep Yah Head Up" as the imagery is magnificent and refreshing.
Both the audio and visual for "Keep Yah Head Up" are scheduled for an August 21st release.
